Lucknow zoo hosting adventure sports

As per the report by IANS, B.K. Singh, zoo director, said, “We will keep it running till October 7 and continue if it is a success. These sports will be open to the public for a fee.”
Some adventure sports have also been organized in the hippo park area on an experimental basis.
The participants will be properly harnessed and attached to a safety belt line to prevent them from falling if they lose control. For the unversed, ziplining involves riding a steel cable on a protective seat or a belt between two points and generally in a valley.
On the other hand, slithering is basically jumping from a higher to a lower point on a free-hanging rope.
