Shikhar Dhawan and co assemble in Lucknow TODAY

Shikhar Dhawan and co are set to assemble in Lucknow from Monday onwards for the upcoming India vs South Africa ODI series. The three-match series is scheduled to start at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Thursday. Players will take flights to different parts of the country to reach the city.
It is important to note India has announced a second-string squad for the series. But, it does not come as a surprise with T20 World Cup round the corner.
The core India squad will be flying to Australia after the T20 series against South Africa. However, the Dhawan-led side will have the services of the standby players of the World Cup, including Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, and Ravi Bishnoi. The latter bunch will head Down Under after the ODI series.
