Youth killed for `honour' in Farrukhabad

In a suspected case of honor killing, the body of a 20-year-old youth was found on the railway track in Farrukhabad on Friday morning, according to the police.
According to the police, the body was found on the railway track near Nekpur between Fatehgarh and Farrukhabad, located near his house, on Friday morning.
The mother of the deceased, in a complaint to the police, has accused the relatives of the girlfriend of the victim of killing her son and later throwing the body on the railway track to make it look like a case of accidental death or suicide. The girl’s family also lives in the same locality. According to the complaint, about 12 days ago Suraj Yadav had gone somewhere with the girl and later Suraj's family members forced him to send the girl back to her house.
The woman said in the complaint that the girl’s family had threatened her son with dire consequences. She accused five named and unknown people of killing her son.
