2 Submit fake marksheet, arrested

The accused, Furkan, 27, and Narendra Kumar, 33, had submitted marksheets for BAMS issued by an institute in Rishikesh.
However, during checking the market sheets were found fake and the registrar Dr. Akhilesh Verma lodged a case.
DCP Central ZoneAparna Rajat Kaushik said that the two have been booked under the charges of dishonesty, forgery, and fraudulently using a genuine document.
“Probe is also underway to trace whether they were the only students or there is a scam behind this and more students producing fake certificates sought admission,” she said.
