Lucknow School timings changed due to cold wave, schools to begin from 10 AM till Dec 31

School timings in Lucknow have been changed due to the cold wave in Uttar Pradesh. The District Magistrate of Lucknow has announced that the school timings will change and will function from 10 am until December 31, 2022.
“Uttar Pradesh | In view of the cold wave situation, schools in Lucknow will function from 10 am to 3 pm till December 31: DM Lucknow.” tweeted ANI.
As per the notice, it stated that in view of the difficulty in reaching the school due to the extreme cold waves, it was requested to extend the school timings from December 21, 2022, to December 31, 2022, from 10 am onwards to 3 pm. The timings of all council-aided recognized board schools operating in the district from class 01 to 08 have been changed.

Similarly, in Punjab and Haryana, CM Bhagwant Mann announced that the school timings in the state have been changed and will function from 10 am from December 21, 2022, to December 31, 2022. The city witnessed the temperature falling lesser than 7 degrees and keeping in mind the safety of all students and teachers the CM announced this decision. The cold wave has been witnessed in Lucknow as well and Punjab and Chandigarh also experienced fog on the streets causing lesser visibility.
