Not just city, keep garbage removal vehicles also clean, fresh, LMC told

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation is all set to give a new look to its garbage removal vehicles.
The move comes in view of the review meeting of the city sanitation held on Wednesday during which divisional commissioner Roshan Jacob expressed discontent over the unkempt vehicles being used by the LMC. She even asked municipal commissioner Indrajeet Singh about the reason behind the usage of shabby vehicles that are also rusted and gave two weeks’ time to fix the issue.
She said, “I don’t want to see these poorly maintained vehicles which display the negligent attitude of the concerned staff. It shows that the LMC is not interested in keeping the city clean. All the vehicles of the rubbish removal department must be painted within 15 days to present a good image of the city for residents.”
