Fire in Levana Hotel : Hotel to be demolished after fire claims 4 lives

The hotel owners, Rahul Agarwal & Rohit Agarwal, have been detained by the Lucknow Police for questioning.
The firefighters had to resort to breaking window panes & grills to rescue the people as the rooms were filled with smoke.
The guests were trapped inside the rooms. The police officer said while adding that the hotel staff, later brought them out of the building through the windows.
The rescue work had started soon after the fire broke out. Reports said that the hotel operators had not taken the NOC of the fire department.
According to the source information, four people died & 10 were injured after a massive fire broke out at Hotel Levana in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area in the morning hours of Monday.
