Class 12 boy, who shot at principal, arrested

Gurvinder Singh, 20, the class 12 student who shot at his principal Ram Singh Verma on the school premises on Saturday in Sitapur, was arrested on Sunday. His family had earlier claimed that he was a minor.
The incident was reported from Adarsh Inter College in the Sadarpur police station area. Gurvinder was arrested from the Nadiya turn area.
The officer also said that so far, they have not got any criminal antecedent either of the accused or of any of his family members. The accused kept on repeating that the principal slapped him in front of all without any fault of his and humiliated him which prompted him to take such an action.
